well just got it with a new t-bird 750.looking mb over i noticed on back of mb were cpu socket is soldered on there are 2 pins soldered together.are these supposed to be like this?all other solder joints look great so i assume they are supposed to be like this.just would like to know before i fire it up and kill something.

Bump for ya. I have no idea but u'd think anything done like that would be intentional. If something does fry that will for sure be their fault, you'd have no problem in getting a new one from the place u got it or asus or whomever.

well fired it up no problems.🙂
upon closer inspection it appears that there is a small resistor or metal tie in the solder so i assume it is intentional.
