This is a summary of the story. "Invitaitons"

A woman has recently moved into an apartment. At first she found herself lonely and was craving for excitement. Her wish was granted one monday when she received an inviation to an art gallery on saturday evening. She was excited about the invitation and imagined herself at the gallery, chatting with other people about modern arts. On tuesday, she received another inviation. This time, she has been invited to a cocktail party on saturday evening. Again, she was excited and she dimissed the idea of going to the art gallery. The next day, she received another inviation. This time she has been invited to a small buffet supper on saturday. Thurday's mail brougnt another invitation; unfortunately it was also for saturday eveing. On friday, she recived another invitaion. This time, she is invited to a gala and she is to be the guest of hononr. Again, this event would happen on saturday evening. On saturday, she decided to stay at home and not to any of the events. She spend her whole saturday on reading Jane Austen's Mansfiled Park.

There. You SUCK at spelling "invitation". And Mansfield Park should be underlined, if it's a novel.

brief corrections:

A woman has recently moved into an apartment. At first she found herself lonely and was craving for excitement. Her desire was fulfilled one Monday when she received an invitation to an art gallery on Saturday evening. She was excited about the invitation and imagined herself at the gallery, chatting with other people about modern arts. On Tuesday, she received another invitation. This time, she had been invited to a cocktail party on Saturday evening. Again, she was excited and she dismissed the idea of going to the art gallery. The next day, she received another invitation. This time she has been invited to a small buffet supper on Saturday. Thursday?s mail brought another invitation; unfortunately it was also for Saturday evening. On Friday, she received another invitation. This time, she is invited to a gala and she is to be the guest of honor. Again, this event would happen on Saturday evening. On Saturday, she decided to stay at home and not to any of the events. She spent her entire Saturday reading Jane Austen's Mansfield Park.

jacklutz made the whole thing present tense, I made the whole thing past tense.... either way, pick one and stick with it.

I'm pretty sure it's underline for a novel, I don't however, know if that's a novel.

Edit: think mine is the best of the three revisions posted so far :)

ps

invitaion is a short story
do I need to underline it?

Also, is the jacklutz version past tense? I dont think is in present.
