I'd like to hear some comments from the pro's in watercooling

From you experienced guys please post helpfull advice on things to DO and DONT that you just learn from experiance.

Also, post your worst watercooling F up

And any tips you might have to help guys like me who have just bought a wc setup and hesitant to begin installation although confident we can do it.

Thanks in advance

Well I wouldn't call myself a WC veteran at all, but I can tell you to definitely run the loop for at least 24 hours before actually installing it to check for leaks. Also apply a little dab (not more than a half of a BB really) of AS to any waterblock you put on, though I'm sure that's relatively common knowledge.

I broke one of the plastic connectors on my chipset heatsink, though I didn't need it anyway. I guess it didn't help that I was using a twisting motion. It was just difficult to see exactly how to get it out. But as long as you're careful and patient and do your research, then you should be fine.

Most people prefer AS. Though any other performance thermal compound will usually get within 2-4C of AS, so its necessity is a matter of opinion.
