I have both of these on hand, and have read excellent reviews on both - but am having a hard time on deciding which. The system that I am building is as followed:

AMD 4200+ X2
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI
2GB (2 x 1GB) Crucial Ballstix Tracer PC4000
1 eVGA 7800GTX
Creative Labs X-Fi Platnium
1 74GB Rapter
1 200GB WD
1 DVD-RW DL -/+
1 DVD/CD-RW

Budget prevails here. They are both excellent PSUs. Although I would more consider the 600w Seasonic or the 510 PCP&C. You will be hard pressed to find someone that will have something bad to say about the PCP&C 510 Express, unless it is someone who wishes they could get it but thinks the price is too high...

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood. I didn't realize you actually had them. Well, I'd go ahead and toss the 510 in there then. 🙂

OP, read this review. The first part should be read by all because it goes into some detail as to how PSUs are rated/marketed. Your 510 is reviewed there but the S-12 is the 600watt unit.

For gamming and long term high stress use, the 510 by a long shot.
If quiet is an issue the S-12 is the best deal, i guess. I'm not a quiet freak...Yet.

At some point in time PCP&C up-rated the cooling fan for the 510 to the extream. If your 510 is one of these,PCP&C will change out the fan and add a better thermal control for the fan.
Cost? Not sure, but iirc it's a near free up-grade. You just have to contact them.

You are lucky to be able to chose between these two fine units.
