That 3DMark seems a bit low for that speed.

My system is almost identical to yours. The difference being I have a 900mhz Tbird and a GeForceMX 200/210, and I get over 6000 3DMarks.

Interesting...

I was just at a friends place and adjusted/benched his new A7V + T-bird 800 + GF2 GTS + PC133, and we got 6534 3DMarks in 3DMark 2000 (default benchmark). So, there' something fishy here... We used Detonators 6.27 (with e-Geforce label) and Via 4in1 424. Also, it was in WinME, with System Restore Utility disabled and not too many progs running (of course). No overclocks whatsoever yet...

This Athlon sytem is excellent for Quake, but unfortunately sucks in Clusterball (which runs very smooth on my machine - see bottom). Some strange kind of (microscopic but unbearable) swapping/AGP texturing occurs in that game (Clusterball). Hmm... Somebody had similar problems in any other OpenGL game?

I changed my signature since that last post. That was with an ASUS V6800 32MB DDR GeForce. I get a default 3DMark2000 benchmark now of around 7200 with the GTS :)

I havent fooled around with my 800 too much, but I can get it to post at 1 ghz. I installed win98 with it running 950. I have a PAL6035 :)
I'm going to try to mess with FSB after I get some good ram.
does anyone think I'll be able to run stable at 1Ghz?
