Just to clarify, Office Depot is not going to ship merchandise from these stores to other stores, they are selling the inventory to a liquidator at around 80% of its cost. There should be some good bargains as they try to get rid of any merchandise that they would otherwise take a write-off on, and the liquidator doesn't want to buy old, discontinued product either.

OfficeMax is going to announce their 45-50 stores that they are closing next week as well, and the same rules should apply.

Alright, I called the OD near me (Roseville,MI) and they are closing. The rep said liquidation started this Saturday, and would be for 10% off everything in the store. she said it would be gradually increasing as each week goes by. I hope that helps!

The Pennsylvania one is in West Chester. NJ is Egg Harbor and Springfield. That was in Philadelphia Inquirer.

Any info on which ones in California are closing? Sacramento has 2, I'm guessing one of them will close.

You are correct, NeoV, no transfers of goods. The Maplewood and Duluth stores are "going down" in MN. The one in Duluth is less than a year old. Both of these stores were run poorly as far as I could see. If you're a customer, and you can tell, it is very bad.
