Someone closed the duplicate topic in OT which happened to have the highest traffic, and was posted 3 minutes later. It's common for the same topics to be posted in both areas, and it was posted as a PSA sort of post in the first place, so people would actually have a chance to see it and comment on it.
If I hadn't seen duplicate posts before in both areas that were never locked, I would have not posted it in both places in the first place.
If one really needs to be locked, then please lock the P&N thread, not the trending OT one.
