I started seeing that phrase while working Help Desk at my last job. Seems to be getting more and more frequent.

That's not hinglish. It's actually british in origin, but has been outdated there for over a century. It hung around in India, it being a former colony.

It was actually a respectful phrase - assuming that the person being addressed was smart enough to figure out what was going on, what needed to be done, and capable of executing.

I'm kinda hoping it makes a comeback.

I thrice had to prepone a meeting because my free time in the future is very less.

OK, thrice is semi-legit. Prepone is not. And "very less" should not be used to describe any generally abstractly negative thing.
