Please I need some help!

Ok heres whats up I have 4 computers, but not enough money for a 10/100 hub I have 2 systems networked with a crossover cable. Ok now this is what i want to do....I want to take one of the PI 120mhz @200 with 32mb ram and make it into a hub or a switch! and also intagrate ICS to it for my DSL connection......How would i go about doing this?

Well I think you are looking at spending a lot of time to get a proxy server for what you want to do. Here is my advice for what it is worth. A 10 base T hub is not slow by any means and can be bought for less than $15.00 , I got a 8 port from DITcorp for $13.00 the CAT 5 cables I got from computersurplusoutlet in Las Vegas for $2.00 each. I take it that you have a nic card in each machine if not they are around $10.00 and you will have to have one in each machine no matter which way you go. Use win 98 SE or newer and install ICS to use one machine as the internet gateway. Cheap and efficient.

Ok i relize that but I still want to learn how to make this proxy/hub...switch/....what ever you want to call it! I want to use Win NT 4 WS........Please help me figure out how to design install configure a setup like this.....
