Please i need help for my PC

Hello my name is tashi, and i am know nothing about pc, the only thing i do with pc is checking email and play game, but now i got problem and i dont know what to do. so please help me.
first one of my friend changed my log name and password, so now i cannt log in to my other pc that means i cant use my pc any more becoz he dont know what user name and password he used.
so now i am thinking to format my hard disk and reinstall the XP, so please can anyone help me to and tell me how can format the hard disk and reinstall XP?
i mean without log in to my system.

1) turn on your computer and hit delete to get into BIOS
2) change the boot sequence to boot from CD ROM first in BIOS
3) insert XP CD in your CD ROM drive
4) restart your computer
5) follow the directions

Before reinstalling just use a 3rd party utility boot diskette to change the password:

i did it in that way but it still keeping ask the user name and password!
