My friends and i just got into counter strike. We have been trying to set up a server for our school, but we have limited funds and are in need of some parts. I would greatly appreciate taking some old hardware off of your hands. We will pay all shipping costs for hardware that you dont want anymore. We can use processors, motherboards, cd drives, memory, hard drives ( this is what we need the most !!!!!!!!), and video cards. We would greatly appreciate any and all offers. there is already a million counter-strike servers. just play on one of those until you can afford the parts.
this is sad. very sad. there are enough servers out there to power half the eastern seaboard. use one of them.

A prick? Yeah I may be a prick but at least I don?t have to come onto a forum and beg for parts. If I want/need parts I do something called save for it.

The last thing we need is ANOTHER Counter-Strike server. Go support another mod...after working with the Science and Industry dev team for so long, CS pretty much bullied out the competition.
No. A worthy cause is the Purple Heart, the Red Cross, or when someone dies and you don't have the money to bury them. Yet another CS server is not a worthy cause.

That is my point. I dont want new stuff at all. If some one has like a 5 gig hd or like an old celeron 400 mhz that THEY DO NOT WANT ANYMORE. I am sorry for those of you who are affended by this. If you dont have anything to donate then you dont have to reply. btw i not a prick at all. I just spent the entire day seting up our first cs server on a pentium 233 with a 1 gig hd and 32 mb of ram. It isnt working very well so i though i would see if i could get some old unused parts. Once again i dont like being called a prick and am not one and i am sorry for pissing you guys off. My bad

Why not just rent a server, i know a guy who usedto rent em for 35 a month.....im sure you kiddies, everyone who plays on the server, can cough up 5 bux a month...
