hi all,

definetly i have been cheated, they sold me an GeCube X800 Pro *VIVO*(!) CS:0 Lim-Edition,
he said it´s VIVO, i read on some places on net the card i have is vivo ,on others not...

well, the card in fact has no ati rage chip (tha big black chip on right of backside)
no yellow connector (supposed 2 be near purple conct)
tha samsung ram says GC20 not GC16 (then it s 2.0 ns not 1.6 ns then not 16 pipeable(not vivo))
it´s got a metal plate line crossing on the backside.(laser cut thing??)

more proofs?

then it s not a vivo, then i cannot have tha 16 pipes, then i ´m changing it to a Aopen GF 6800 GT,
(the shop has no more x800 than this one)

well tha 6800 gt is not bad choice i think. :)

Am i Right or Wrong ? Please!!
THANK U ALL !

sorry about what happened to you man, but people here dont like it when you create duplicate threads like that. just a fair warning if you dont want others to flame you.

HelliKoid, don't take this perosnaly but you clearly have no clue what you are talking about. I recomend you don't even try to mod a vivo if you do get one, just keep the x800pro you have or get the 6800gt and leave it at that.

those two points would mean it is not a vivo.

the speed of your ram has nothing to do with how many pipelines you can use on the chip. also, That "metal plate line" is what holds the heatsink on, it has nothing to do with laser cutting.

This is true but the Vivo's come with 1.6 ns ram.
