Please Help!

I just built a system. When I turn on the power switch, the light on the motherboard gets lit but nothning else works. One fan starts to turn for about half a second and then it dies. You think my power supply's the problem?

try switching it, but its hard to say

check the power connections and make sure the voltage is right at the back
