Setting up old system for wife.
Fic 503+
k6-2 400
Maxtor 20 gig (new)
128 megs pc-133 (new)

Everything else is leftovers that worked 2 weeks ago. Only thing new is memory and HD.I got win98 installed but now it won't boot up at all. Everything powers up and thats it. Its not beeping either. I took out everything execpt VC and still nothing. Then I took out the VC, I think it should at least beep, but nothing. Reseated everything at least twice now. This was a perfectly stable setup. Everything in it has been in it before and worked fine then. HELP!

Check to make sure the motherboard isn't grounding out on the case
Make sure the power supply is functioning. Test it without the motherboard.

Yes check for grounding,you could try the motherboard outside the case,double check everything including CPU,ram,cables etc ,my friend had a similar problem phoned me up ,turn out to be the cpu not seated all the way in,so go through everything again.
