is their a way to find out your CD-Key in Half life? My friend borrowed my cd and lost it, !!! And I want to reformat today for some extra "SPEED"!

He'll probably end up buying it, but it would be a lot easier if I could get a cd-key and borrow a friend's CD, this should be legal since I payed for it in the first place.

It most likely is legal for you to use your cd key with a borrowed cd. Unfortunately, AFAIK, there aren't any programs any more that allow you to look up the cd key once it's installed. I think you're pretty much out of luck, unless you can find it written somewhere in the original packaging.
