Hi guys!
I've been had by AS*S since they wrote "128 bit color" on their 64 bit GeForce FX 5200's box. Now, I'm so frustrated with its performance, I am willing to solder it in order to CONVERT IT TO 128 BIT.

Here's my question: IS IT IN ANY SANE/INSANE WAY POSSIBLE TO CONVERT MY 64 BIT nVidia GeForce FX 5200 TO 128 BIT BY HACKING/BIOS TWEAKS OR SOLDERING CONNECTIONS(! I'M READY TO GO TO THAT EXTENT!) ?

Ya I know that 128 bit color is not 128 bit memory bandwidth. I just wanted to know if I could tweak my existing card without buying a new one!

Well, you could try overclocking it. But nothing short of an overhaul will get your system running halfway decently.

I am already running this card @ +10 MHz for both core and memory frequencies. Please tell me what are the safe limits to overclock my GPU? My card dosen't have a fan, but I've made alternate arrangements for sufficient cooling. My defaults are: CORE- 250 MHz AND MEMORY- 405MHz. (or du u want me to start a new thread for this question?)

I agree. Live with what you have til you can buy a new pc. And a bios/setting tweak will not alter the physical limitations of your video card.
