Please Help

I'm using Firefox.
After I recently installed Windows SP2 and bought Zone Alarm, my browser stopped showing java applets and flash. On top of that, my browser sometimes becomes completely unresponcive/frozen when it tries to load java or flash. I tried using Internet explorer but same thing happens. I thought it was some security issues in Zone Alarm, and I have given "permission" to both my browsers to do whatever they want - no restrictions, and still I have the same problem.
I'm sure it's either SP2 or Zone Alarm. My PC was perfectly fine before I installed the above.

Delete your profile, enable JavaScript in ZoneAlarm and Firefox.

Ok.. I uninstalled Zone alarm completely. And found that java script was enabled by default already for Firefox. I guess my last resort is to uninstall SP2. I knew it was crap, but I decided to install it just cause I thought this time would be different. Yet again I remembered the old saying: "If it works - DONT FIX IT!!"

I'm running SP2 with no problems. Try deleting your Firefox profile.

I have no idea what you're talking about.. can u clarify??
I dont remember making any profiles in Firefox.

There'll already be a default one. First, backup your bookmarks. Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks. File -> Export, Save.

Close Firefox.

Start -> Run

Type firefox.exe -profilemanager in the box. A box will come up with a list of users. Delete the one you're using (Default) and make a new one.

Ok when I type that in, it just opens a new firefox window.
Apparently the problem is Flash. Not Java.
The way I test this is through e-bay site. when I switch it to non flash version, it displays perfectly. As soon as I try the flash one, most of the page is blank.

That's why I said close firefox first.

Make sure the process isn't running.
