Got A netgear WGR614 Works Fine, One Person Connected wireless the other with a cord due to no wireless card but I have realized my internet is slow when no1 is even on it except me So people are just stealing the signal it seems, I tryed to figure out how to set up a password through the netgear software but no luck, please any help would be great
 
Change and Dont Broadcast the SSID
Enable MAC Address Filtering

2 Simple Solutions without getting too crazy with the Security Settings.
 
Thanks for the link but i was in my routers settings and there was no where to just eneter the mac address
 
By now, Netgear has 6 versions of this Router. There are differences in the capacities and menu structures from one version to the other.

In version 5 under the Wireless Setup menu there is, Wireless Card Access List, this list is the MAC filtering for the Wireless.
