Can someone PLEASE help me to answer the following 2 questions. It is for an 80 question homework assignment that's overdue. These are the only questions that I'm stuck on. Can someone PLEASE help me.

Thank you in advance.

#1 You are the lead systems analyst on a new software project for your company. You have been given the responsibility to choose the hardware platform for the project. Your supervisor, a business major, has come to you with some suggestions. He states, "We just want to process and retrieve data real fast. We also want the ability to store lots of information." What is your recommendation?

2. Your Aunt Sally has learned that you have been taking a graduate class named Computer Organization and Architecture. You told her that you have been studying amongst other things, computer hardware. Aunt Sally says that she has always wanted to understand "how those darn machines work." Please help Aunt Sally understand how computers work. Take Aunt Sally from computer evolution to computer organization (include. Interconnection Structure, Memory Structure, Operating System).

#1
- Processing Data Fast: Fast CPU - type of CPU depends on application, but probably an intel, possibly a multiple CPU machine...
- Read/Write Data Fast: A SCSI RAID, either raid1 or raid0+1 (NOT RAID 0 is a business environment).
- Larger SCSI drives / Multiple RAIDs for storing more Data.

#2 (Even though Aunt Sally wouldn't understand it)

#1 2x Opteron 275 with some SCSI RAID drives maybe tape drives as well for very large amount of data, Gigabit Ethernet. But it all depends on the budget.

#2 Too long to answer

Well, I'd say question #2 could be a book in itself. I'm amazed that such a question is part your 80 question homework assignment.
