I tried to overclock my Soyo Soyo Dragon + SY K7V with a Athlon XP 1700+. I went into the BIOS and set the FSB to 133 (the one where you increase by 1)and then set the frequency (or whatever the setting is that gives you an option between 100 mhz and 133 mhz). Now when I try to boot it up, my monitor doesn't work, What have I done and how do I fix it? Is there nay way to reset my BIOS settings without being able to see what I'm doing on my monitor?

SY- K7V soyo Dragon +, athlon XP 1700+ (runs at 1.1 ghz), Radeon 9600 XT, 512mb pc133 DDR RAM. I have a Lian Li case but it does'nt have fans all over it like some of the other ones. Is heat an issue? or is it something else?

Take a look at pages 53-55 of your manual, which shows the Advanced Chipset Features menu and the DRAM Clock/Driver Control sub-menu. In the latter, you would want to manually set your memory frequency to 133MHz to ensure that the mobo doesn't get the option to do something stupid like try to run it at a 5:4 ratio of the CPU bus. Now save & exit, see if that setting stuck, and then try raising the CPU to 133MHz bus in the Soyo Combo Feature menu.

Bigger picture: KT266A board, ewwww 😛 Ever considered an upgrade? A Shuttle AN35N Ultra would set you back about $55 shipped, perform better, open the door for overclocking and faster CPUs, AGP 8x, USB 2.0... it does need a power supply with an ATX12V secondary power plug, however.
