Everytime i turn my computer on, it goes to this screen that says "Press F4 or ctrl+s to enter RAID setup." The wierd thing is I don't even have a RAID connected. I have memory, harddrive (ON IDE-1), CPU, FAN, Video Card. After that screen, it says how do you want to start up windows (normally, Safe mode, etc). But after I pick one of the options, the computer restarts and it happens again. how can i fix this!?

Welcome to the Forums vxvenom :) Can you give some more info about your computer (what motherboard it has would be a big help)? When did the problem start, and can you think of any changes that happened right before?

PC Specs / OS / Any recent hardware additions
Did the computer work previously ?
Have you configured anything in the BIOS ?
Are the physical connections secure on the Mobo as well as the Drive ?

To get good answers , on Anandtech you must supply Well Structured Questions , so that we can help you

Yours Sincerely

In your system's main BIOS, check maybe under the Integrated Peripherals section for anything about the RAID Controller - disable it there. That assumes it's onboard, which it probably is. No reason to have a RAID card in there if it wouldn't be used, right?:)

Jeff7 is right. It sounds like you have onboard RAID enabled. I've been through this a number of times. It may be difficult to find because it may be labelled in combination with SCSI or SATA. Once you turn it off, that message will stop.
