Please help with unusall ping issue?

One of my computer's is having an issue with it's connection. It will not access the internet or the LAN. I tried everything. When I ping it resolves the name to "°ÿ".

This person herehere seems to have the same exact problem as me. Please help me. I had this issue before and I tried everything until I finally formatted and I can not afford to this now.

The ping tool is a good tool to find out whether there is a connection, but it would not tell you what is need to be configured.

In General you can debug the Network Setting of the computer following these steps.[/

Step One. Check the Network parameters in the Computer?s Device Manager. Make sure that the drivers are installed correctly; there is No IRQ conflict, and No Ghost installation. http://www.ezlan.net/faq#ghost

If the above two Steps indicates that every thing looks good but functionally it does not work.

Step Three. Check (and repair if necessary) the Socket Layers, Winsock, and or refresh the TCP/IP Stack. http://www.ezlan.net/clean#refreshnet

Hey thanks man, I used LSP fix and removed some file from there and it worked. I did not download anything from this computer. It's on a network. Very weird. I am not exactly sure what happened. Thank you very much though.
