Please help with unusall ping issue? *Resolved*

One of my computer's is having an issue with it's connection. It will not access the internet or the LAN. I tried everything. When I ping it resolves the name to "°ÿ".

This person here seems to have the same exact problem as me. Please help me. I had this issue before and I tried everything until I finally formatted and I can not afford to this now.

You can try resetting your tcp/ip stack.
Run the following from a command prompt.

netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

post the resetlog.txt contents here.

If that doesn't do the trick I would be curious to see a netmon or ethereal capture. PM me if you are able to collect one.

Also, make an entry in your hosts file and then try to ping that name. Does it do the same thing?
