I just installed 2 128 800 rambus sticks. I had 2 already. I now have 4 128s. However my games are extremely slow now. My system is 1.9p4, GF4 ti 4400 and this darn thing is slow. All I did was install the ram and turn it on. did I do somthing wrong. I posted this in technical but no answer. please help. 🙁

Unfortunately, I have never (yes never) assembled a Rambus system where memory had to be installed in matched pairs.

Is it possable that one of the memory sticks is not seated and therefore doing somethign funky with the memory controller?

Have you tried pulling the 2 sticks back out to see if it sped back up?

<---- has little clue 🙁

pulled out the 2 new ones and it sped back up. This thing is not just slow it is extremly slow, when the 4 sticks are in, also the game is jerky during play. I have the correct memory and I have it in pairs. I pushed them all the way in. The original mem is in the first 2 slots and the new ones are in the 2 two. I have the th7-11 raid board and it said to install it this way.
