Please Help with o/c ti4400

Sup guys this is my first time posting and after reading this forum for the past few days i found it to be very helpful and the members to be very cool people. I had a question concerning my VisionTek ti4400. i downloaded the coolbits.reg edit and i overclocked my card to 300/600... i went to run 3dmark 2k1 and it froze.. now wtf? i heard people overclocking to higher and it running fine. I have 1/2 of my case open and a huge 8 inch fan blowing MASSIVE amounts of air onto my vdieo card/mobo/ and processor. I got a 1.3ghz atlhon t-bird, 256ram,. why cant i overclock it as high as others? I apprecaite your help.

Also, When i do overclock games like SOF2 and jk2, run SLOWER than when my card wasnt overclocked... im running win2k pro.

the card just may not like overclocking

i guess it's luck of the draw
I have the same card running 300/650 with nary a problem

Sounds like your one of the few people who cant OC their cards, I know it sucks. Anyways I got my Ti4200 to 300/600 .
