Please help with linksys router

If anyone has had this problem,please help.
I'm using linksys router with dsl modem,upgraded to latest firmware,can connect to the internet and play quake3 arena, but can not share files over my network.When I click on network neighborhood I get message "unable to browse network" File and print sharing
are turned on and drive c is shared on both computers,also I get response when I ping them from one another,can also play multiplayer
quake between the two machines.

i don't think it's the router. are you logged on in windows? try uninstalling network properties then reinstall them.

Try using accessing the share directly instead of browsing. \\server\share
