!!Please help with bios flash on MSI Turbo!!

HI, I just recieved my MSI K7T-Turbo and assemblrd my system. I have a prophet ddr video card. I want to use my raid for my hard drive, but this bios revision (2.2) wont allow you to see the raid with this video card. (I read about that problem in other posts.) I want to flash my bios to the newest 1.0b16. I have tried several times to flash to any of the newer bios updates, but every time the flash program starts and hangs where it says programming flash memory. It warns not to turn off, but I have no choice as it is locked. The system will restart in the old bios no problem. I have tried making several different boot floppys and redownloading the bios, but no luck. If any one has any ideas or suggestions on what the problem is I would greatly appreciate the help. Also there are no error messages.

I'm not sure about the Turbo but on my Pro2-A I had the same problem and all I had to do to fix it was boot from a floppy into DOS and run the flash program and BIOS file from my hard drive instead of the floppy.

hi,

i had that same exact problem, go to abit.com.tw and download one of their bioses. then use the awdflash.exe utility that they bundle with their bins for flashing your bios. so a 'awdflash.exe <bios>' should work.
