Please help with asus a7v8x motherboard

The motherboard won't get any video signal..There isn't any system beep sound..Cna someone help me with this problem..thanks

Sure thing Start by listing the parts in the system:

Power supply brand/model
Memory module(s) brand/model
CPU model
Some info about the heatsink, was it a retail-boxed AMD one, or another model (if so, info is helpful)
Video-card brand/model
Hard drive(s) brand/model
CD/DVD drive(s) brand/model

When you start up the computer, do the fans start running and stay on? Or do they turn on and then turn right off, or do they run and then stop after 5-6 seconds?

Some of Asus's motherboards also have an onboard Speech Reporter that will play back spoken troubleshooting messages through the green headphone/speaker jack, so try plugging some headphones or powered speakers into it and see if it's saying something (not that the messages are usually that helpful). Asus lists this feature as "optional" for the A7V8X.

By the way, is this is a straight A7V8X, or an A7V8X-X here?
