please help!! windows xp ntfs.sys problem!

hey everyone,

i turned on my machine thats running windows xp pro this morning and i got a very weird error. i took a picture of the error because its a little long to type out. the error is as follows:

can anyone help? ive tried entering safe mode and any other mode that it says, but i still cant get past that!

if there is no fix for it, is there a way to connect my hard from my win xp machine to my old one and copy the files i need? thank you very much for ANY help you can provide! thanksSS!!!

Boot from the CD and run the repair process. It should repair any problems with the start-up environment (which looks like your issue)
 
If you try hooking it to another xp machine and reading it as a second HD you will probly get the same error, only way I was able to fix this was to reformat the thing. sorry.
