Hi! I dont know what happened to my computer. Whenever I boot it and it will just reset itself. This means that whenever I see the windows clouds screen then it resets itself. This keeps on looping and I cant get to windows. The only way I can get to windows is thru safe mode. I tried to reformat everything and it works for a few times and started to reset itself again. My computer configuration is as follows:
Enlight 7237 250W enlight ps
Abit KT7
AMD Duron 600
128Mb crucial cas 2 PC133
Voodoo3 3000
CL PCI 128 sound
Quantum Fireball LM3 30gig HD
Creative CD Rom
Windows98
I really appreciate your help. Thanks

You probably have a conflict on you system resources. check your IRQ's most likely are the controllers.

try booting with only HD, video card, RAM and CPU and see if that works. Then add components one at a time to determine where the problem is. Also list all of your components, including modem, especially ones that run on ISA or are fairly old. Sometimes those kind of things have problems under windows. Also did you change anything on your computer lately?

Hey guys I think I got it working. It seems that the voltage supplied to my apt wasnt that stable. Got myself a surge protecter to fix things up. Thanks very much for your response. I really appreciate it. Oh one more thing my fren has exactly the same setup as mine to the position of all the io cards and his is running perfectly. I guess the voltage in my apt is the culprit.....
