I have a friend who has win2k sp2 installed on a brand new machine.
He enabled the hibernate feature in the power managment and was able to successfully go into and out of hibernate (not suspend)
Last night he initiated hibernate and in the morning he booted up his machine. It gets almost all the way to finishing and then gives him an error. It states something about the init.sys file is missing or corrupted, or perhaps there is a file missing in the init.sys.
I have done a quick search on init.sys and can find no relevant links on what this may be.
Does anybody know how to fix this!!! He can't even boot into safe mode.
ANY HELP WOULD BE SUPREMELY APPRECIATED!!
thanks
