I am putting together a system with Ecs k7vzm mobo and a codegen mid tower case. i cant find the power button connector from the case there is a connector says S/B SW i dont know what it means. i connected it to the power button pins anyway. All other connectors are Speaker,HDD LED,Reset and Power LED. so i figured its gotta be for power button. but the system wont come on. i dont know if the power supply is dead or the damn case came without a connector for the Power on button

I have a Fong-Kai case and, if memory serves me, I was able to download instructions from their web site (or maybe they were shipped with the case). In any event, if Codegen's web site doesn't have them, I'd contact them directly and ask them to email them to you.

Have you been getting any signs of life--lights, beeps, fans, drives spinning up etc.?
Some mobos are shipped with the CMOS Clear jumper in the clear position. It has to be put in the Normal position in order to boot. If that doesn't do it, put the Clear jumper in the Clear position for several seconds then put it back to Normal. Be sure to have the computer fully powered down when manipulating the CMOS Clear jumper, either unplug from power or turn off the power switch on the power supply (it just occurred to me, if there is a power switch on the power supply, has it been on or off while you have been trying to start your confuser..? ;)) Now try to power on the computer again.
If that doesn't work, take two shots and call me in the morning...
