Please help w/ crazy internet problem

I have a dsl router with three computers (2 pcs and a mac) connected. I cannot connect to anandtech.com, microsoft.com or ebay.com (all dns failure) but seem to be able to surf just about anywhere else. I am at work right now with the same dsl isp just a few blocks away and everything works perfect. I've tried restarting computers, router and dsl modem and nothing works. What would cause me to only get some sites but not the others? Oh, and this setup has worked flawlessly for 2 years with no recent changes. Please give me some ideas.

those are really the only 3 sites that you of that that don't work?

have you tried hard resetting the router? (on some models there's a switch for hard reset versus simply unplugging power)

are you unable to access the sites on ALL 3 boxes?
 
Well, those were the sites that I found so far. Anyway, when I got home I finally tried the reset (didn't want to lose all my custom settings) and all was back to normal.
