For example, I wanted to play Oblivion with HDR, 6xSSAA, 16xAF and it works. Ok. I quit. Wait about 10 secs.

Restart oblivion and then for some reason either AA, AF, or both will not work! This happens to me in every game and randomly.

This is getting annoying. Anyone ever had similar issues?

Try These?

I'm not an ATI user (at the moment) but XG drivers normally fix most problems.

There's also a fix after you install the drivers. Not sure what it's for.

lol theres an up to date topic in their forum about the warcats having a virus O_O

Thanks for the idea. I tried Omega but the issue wouldn't go away. Sadly, I guess I'll just do a fresh install of windows and hope it solves the problem. If it doesn't, it would really suck. Hate reinstalling like 6 various CD games and such :-(

Problem still there, please help.

Ok, this is what I've done:

Uninstall old catalyst, use driver cleaner, clear ATI oem files and any lingering ATI files. Installed catalyst 6.5, restart. Installed oblivion chuck patch for 6.5. Restart. Enable HDR in oblivion settings. Exit. Enable 4xAA with Performance AAA. Enable Catalyst AI standard. Launch oblivion. No aa only HDR.

Driving me nuts! Please someone help. BTW, I'm using Crossfire -- which shouldn't make a difference cos I had the same problem when I had only 1 card (5 days ago).

thanks for the reply, however, I FINALLY figured out what I was doing wrong. The chuck 6.5 is NOT a patch but an entire driver! I was not aware of that. So I kept trying to patch Cat 6.5 to chuck but of course it was not properly patched.

Installed Oblivion Cat 6.5, then CCC, then WDM. Just finished playing with HDR, 4xAAA, 16xAF @ 1680x1050
