I have never overclocked before so i have a few questions.

- I have an asus p2b (the 1st one, i think because of when I bought it) can i pop CuMine processor in there or do i have to stick with Katmai (which really isn't much of an upgrade)?

- Related to the 1st question, how do I know which version I have? How do I know what voltage it can output?

- If I can use a CuMine, what are my chances of oc'ing a pIII 700 to 920 (110*8) with proper cooling? Will my AGP or PCI crap out at 115 MHz?

-How well does pc100 ram OC? to run at 115 would it be better to upgrade to pc133?

- If i can do all this safely, what would the performance gains be from a pIII 450, 128MB 100Mhz RAM, Rage Fury to a PIII 700 @ 880, with 256MB CAS2 pc133, ATI Radeon LE @ 163 Mhz?
Barely noticeable? Big? Monstrously massive?

-Thanx in advance for the help guys

a slot 1 coppermine will not work with that board if it's revision is less than 1.12. you'll find the revision number in between the ISA slots.
to use a coppermine, you will have to use a flipchip & a slocket with voltage adjustment like an asus S370-133. you will also have to have the latest bios & set the voltage on the slocket to 1.8V.
you should get an E(100fsb) coppermine!

intel cpus are multiplier locked so to o/clock it, you have to raise the fsb!
I am not sure what range of fsb jumper settings your particular board has as the earier boards had fewer fsb settings compared to the more recent boards.
you would find greatly improved benchmark performance by moving up from your P3-450 to a P3-700 as the L2 cache is on die & running at full cpu speed instead of at half speed!

I think my manual shows that i can move the fsb up to 150 MHz! Is that possible or am i reading this wrong? What kind of speeds can i reach before my AGP starts having trouble?

the FSB on these (on mine at least) is not very OC-able. It's been a while since I tried, but I think I couldn't get above 112. I have PC100 RAM though, so you might have better luck with 133.
