i have no freakin clue how my 8 month old daughter did it.. she was playing with my laptop, mashing on buttons, and then all of a sudden, everything is turned sideways, and i have no idea how to turn it back... i have windows xp pro on it if that helps.. thanks!

edit: problem solved.. you guys kick ass!
 
Is it nvidia?

right click on desktop, go to properties,

settings tab

advanced

NV Rotate



ATI probably has something similar to this as well.
 
everything.. like if the laptop is right side up, everything is rotated 90 degrees... i don't have anything called "magic rotation"
 
it's actually intel extreme graphics 2, but because of your suggestion, i checked that, and bam, fixed.. thanks!
 
Then do as TipsyMcStagger suggested... Right click on desktop and either there will be an option called NV display or what he said... You can turn it back from there...

EDIT: I type too slow...
