OK folks I have an ATI AIW radeon, abit kt7, tbird 750, 256 mb pc133, sb live value, linksys ethernet card, and winme. I have swapped out everything-video card, ram, network card, sound card, and the thing freezes on me all the time. at first i thought it was the via/ati problem, but when i tried a voodoo card it still froze. I know that my system runs cool enough. Could this be a problem with the tbird? Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.
 
Possibly a power problem. It would be safest if you were running an amd approved power supply. Sometimes, even if you have everything out except the basics (ie. hd, processor, ram, older video card), it will start working fine. I've had these problems before, and more often than you might suspect, it was a power problem. Another thing to check for is for driver incompatabilities.
