We have a 2yr old white dwarf rabbit. Her name's Lulu. Very playful little gal. Had a broken arm when she was 1yr old.
Today my sister took her outside for a bath, then left her outside to play for a few hours. When she brought her back in, she noticed that Lulu was lacking strength to move. Later in the evening we noticed she was breathing very heavily. She had oxygen cut off a few times, luckily my pop patted her and helped with her breathing.
Tonight at midnight we brought her into the emergency vet where she's put on oxygen. The vet said she may have contracted some kind of bateria, her temperature is only 35*c. The vet also said her x-rayed pic of her lung has some sort of fluid in it.
I've seen her stiffen up a few times due to lack of oxygen. Her hands and legs were stretched out, her eyes bulging, and her entire body shaking. It was not a pretty sight.
Hopefully things will turn out for the better tomorrow and thereafter. We love her dearly. Hang in there Lulu.
She's the most adorable little creature we've ever met, so kind and playful. Always licking our fingers and toes, and loves it when we pet her and give her a back massage.
Please lend a hand and pray for her if you can. Thankyou.
