I just bought a new GeForceGTS to replace my old Voodoo3. I have noticed that the nVidia drivers do not have seperate color controls for the desktop, opengl, and d3d like the 3dfx drivers do. Basicly, I want my desktop to be dark and my opengl and d3d (games) to be bright. There is no way to do this without messing with the color settings eveytime I want to play a game. If you know of a ultility that can help please let me know.

The easiest way to do it is to use the quicktweak taskbar control panel which comes with nVidia's drivers. Just make a birght colour level and before you launch a game simply switch your system to the bright setting.

You might like this:

3Deep

It lets you do a one-click between profiles from the desktop
