Hi all,

I'm planning to setup new system (for overclocking) -
celeron566
MSI BX-Master with MS-6905 slocket
128M SDRAM / 133Mhz

my question regarding the video card :
assuming I don't need 3D performance so is it possible to use standard ATI 8M AGP card for overclocking?

p.s - sorry about my English

I'd say yes, because with a Celeron 566 you're gonna stay around 100 Mhz FSB speed. This keeps the AGP in spec, and your ATI card shouldn't have any problems.

mcbiff,

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by "around the 100Mhz". I know that 100Mhz is the spec because the PCI bus should run at 33Mhz and the AGP at 66Mhz so the divider is perfect for 100Mhz (1/3 and 2/3), but is it possible, for example, to overclock at 83Mhz (out of spec), will the standard video AGP will handle this?
