OK, my school's campus doesn't allow any file-sharing programs on its network and I'm wondering if there's a way around it. Or if you know any less-popular file-sharing programs that can be used. Thanks so much
So how does your school stop file sharing? Do they just block those ports? There's always IRC (I use undernet only, dalnet is a sespool). It's alot easier to find stuff (especially music) and it's much more reliable as well.
How about paying for you own broadband connection? If you don't like that, live with the rules your school's IT dept have imposed. They didn't do it arbitrarily.
