Hi, a friend of mine is having issues with his water cooling setup and a stock 2600K.
i don't know much about water cooling so i turn to you! 🙂

setup is as follows:
RX360
EK maximus 3 extreme-z
XSPC RayStorm
EK DDC X-RES
Swiftech MCP350

idle temps: http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/6256/13490964388727.png
load (with turbo): http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/6357/13491151950407.png
load (no turbo): http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/368/13491160179955.png

do these temps make sense? room temperature is around 30C, still this seems kind of high for Water...

also, he's been getting this message form OCCT: http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/6755/13491160937265.png

he tried reseating the block, re-applying TIM, revving up the pump to 3900RPM and drain-refill liquid but temps remain high (-ish).

does anyone see a problem here?

Your load temps are fine, but your idle temps a bit high for water cooling. (And even the load temps might be high for watercooling, but they're certainly not high in the grand scheme, so you don't have to worry about it).

I just have a relatively small CoolerMaster TX3, and I idle at around 33C on my 2500K. The 2600K might idle slightly higher, but it shouldn't on water.

The warning is about his power supply...it's not delivering enough voltage on the 3.3V rail. What power supply does he have?

Probably has air trapped in the radiator. While it's running, tilt the computer so the radiator tilts forward, backward, and to the sides. Bet you'll hear air being purged...it doesn't take huge amts. of air to compromise the radiator.
