Well, obviously Im posting here means I do have internet connection, however my Windows XP doesn't recognize it.
If I do something like auto-update or whatever, it says it doesn't have connection.
The problem with my internet right now tho, is that my Ethernet card is messed up so Im connected through USB using Comcast Broadband. However during startups it always says that Comcast could not retrieve your account infomation, even though I can still access the internet if I go into Command and renew my ip through ipconfig. Also on my screen, the bottom right corner has all these signs telling me my local area network is disconnected and my USB cable is ready to be safely injected...
I've tried to unplugging it and then reinstalling the Modem's driver and everything but it doesn't work. I actually end up losing connection that way. Then I have to unplug the powerchord to my Modem and gointo Command and use ipconfig to release and renew the ip to get my connection back all over again. It's very frustrating.
Please how do I fix this problem?
