I really need your help guys, I have an ePox 8kha+, Athlon XP 1800+, 256 MB DDR 2100, 40 GB 7200 RPM HD, and a standard GeForce3. I hooked it up to the TV to test it out and it worked fine. Before I wanted to hook it up to the monitor I wanted the take a look inside. I tightened some screws and moved some cables out of the way. I hooked it up and I get no power whatsoever. All connections are fine, bezel is fine, and the PSU is working because I tested it out on the computer I am using. I don't know what to do. I get virtually no power. Please help.

Do the following:

Check CPU to make sure it is seating tightly on your mobo.
Check RAM " " " " .
Check Mobo pin connectors from your case.
Check PSU cable connected to your mobo to make sure it is tight and secure.
Double Check your PSU it didnt blow a fuse on ya.
Sometimes your mobo isnt ground properly so try to reinsert all your PCI cards.

P.S. Sometimes it is small mistakes that ruin the entire experience of building a computer. Keep looking I'm sure you'll find the cause of this. I have say it before, now i'll say it once more we can not actually help unless we're there with you.

I tested the PSU, its fine. Mobo connectors from case are afine. CPU is fine. RAM is fine. I only have my GF3 AGP card in there. What do you mean by the Mobo being grounded?

Make sure no screws are touching the motherboard that are not connected, and all the holes line up with the screws or you will ground out.

The less standoff the better. I think four is enough. One in each corner. Less chance of ground problem from case.

Do you have another PSU you can test in THAT machine... you should not have to worry about wattage with that few components in there... so you can attempt to determine if its mobo/system or PSU thats the problem?
