Please help...my computer won't boot

Here are my specs:

Intel Q6700
Abit IP35 Pro
BFG 8800 GTS 512mb
2x 2048mb G.Skill
80 GB Western Digital Raptor 10k RPM
500 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200
1 TB Samsung F1
Corsair 620HX PSU
Creative X-Fi Platinum
Windows Vista Ultimate x64

Yesterday, iTunes was extremely slow and unresponsive for me, so I rebooted, but I could never boot back up. When I turn on computer, it gets stuck at the mobo image, it doesn't go any further. I have no idea what the issue could be, I have reset my CMOS quite a few times with no luck.

I have pressed DELETE and TAB to get into BIOS or the POST screen, but the computer doesn't respond at all. To my knowledge I didn't change anything major on my computer that would cause this type of error.

Help please! Today is the first day of class and having my computer down is a bad way to begin lol

If you have any USB drives plugged in take them out (that would include your iPod). Also, try disconnecting your CD/DVD drives and just booting with the hard drive + other essentials. If it works, reboot with another component added, repeat that until you can't reboot again.

I would also reseat all connectors after moving the computer.

Alright, I unhooked my sound card and it booted fine.

I put it back in and it also booted fine.

Any idea what could have caused this?

Do you mean you unplugged the audio output from the sound card? or pulled it out completely..

Sounds like Magnus hit it on the head. Had this happen with a video card. Reseated it and it worked fine. Figured it to be a loose card. Taught me to always check every connection whenever moving a computer for any reason

Where exactly did he say he moved his computer anyways? All I read was that his computer was acting up, he rebooted and it failed to boot up for him.

Sorry, I guess I was reading too much between the lines. I assumed first day of class meant college and that he was in an apartment or dorm. In any case, I'm glad it works.

As did I oops but issue resolved YAY
