put in the previous HSF, make sure that you don't use the mobo header for the fan.

I could go to 1333@1595 with my previous A7M266, it's never stable at that frequency, anyway.

I had a 250 Watt PSU on my A7M266 and changed to 650 Watt, That does NOT change ANYTHING.

The A7M266, by the way, is an excelletn board, read my comparion with newer AMD 760 boards, they don't overclock better or perform better.

Thanks for the help,But what could the problem be??!!
I have the fan conected straight to the CASE not to the MOTHERBOARD!!
I really would like to know COULD it my procceser or ....something else

well first...you shouldnt be running a 1.5ghz system on a 250watt PSU, my 1ghz wouldnt even cut it
and my second suggestion was the swiftech uses the 4 pin connector directly to the PSU right and uses more voltage...and your previous fan uses the motherboard and less voltage, maybe the power pack just couldnt cut that extra power it needed to give..it would already be straining

I beg to differ, and I suspect others would as well. Considering not just personal experience with the A7M266 (as well as several other ASUS boards, A7V133 included) -- it just doesn't hit the speeds or reliability the EpoX 8K7A can. It's also extremely overpriced, and by the time it falls, SiS 735 boards will be shipping :D

Get yourself either an Enermax 465VP-E, or the monster 651VP-E. The latter might be overkill for you, but certainly at about ~$80 you can't go wrong on the 465VP-E.

Lots of places sell them, just shop around. A reliable vendor I'd buy one from now? CrazyPC.

Hmmmmm the best fan is the mc 462-a, not the one you listed. Maybe you bough an inferior hsf??
