I have never come across this problem before, personally or indirectly. Basically what happens is everytime I try to access (stream) an asf (asx) file from sites like cdnow.com or the like I get this message popping up! *refer to enclosed image for detail*
If I opened the files locally or force it to stream, like putting the link in the location field, it will stream fine but doing so via a link will only get me this fustrating error pop-up. I've reinstalled IE and that didnt work. I tried clearing my cache/cookies that didnt' work. Its a minor nuisance but I like to sample songs alot and copying/pasting is a chore and is preferred if it can be avoided.

p.s I should mention I deleted some files when ad-Aware found them. I can't honestly say I knew what those files were just that Ad-aware foudn them intrusive and identified them as spyware so I deleted them. This is when the problem started. I just dont know what to replace to make linkage happy again.
