Ok the new rig I built is in my signature, KK time to go into details....

Everything runs fine, and fast, but here is my wierd problem...ok I instaleld UT2004, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 1, CS : S, WC3, CS classic

Ok UT2004, Half-life 2 run amazing in single player, but in online play, I get wierd suttering, sometimes really bad, and it is not my connection because I have very low ping and my 2nd comp has the same games with no stutter. But WC3 and CS classic run perfect, no stuttering, so...

I've installed all drivers for mobo, video card, and all windows updates, none helped me. I've also changed the resolutions to no end, I can actually claim I've tried all possible resolutions and settings, and my temperature is 33-35C idle and 37-40C at load for CPU, and 45-50C idle and 55C max at load for the video card.

Even today I played singleplayer BF2 with 0 lag with max resolution and max settings...

Please help

Disable NV/ATI speed up
Disable fast Writes

Can't disable fast writes, no such thing for PCI-E cards, I dunno about NV/ATI speed up....is that for AGP only or PCI-E? If so...care to provide detailed explanation?

Have you looked for updates for the games?

are you sure all of the games are up to date?

could just be glitches that need to be fixed via an update

Have you tried adjusted game play settings? video, sound, network? Maybe spyware or adware is getting in the way? Too many processes running in the background? I'm just shotting out ideas; I have no idea really!

It's obviously not a video card problem if it does not happen in singleplyer mode. Do you have firewall software running? Check for spyware that might be bogging your connection down.

what a sad sad sad solution I came up with...fps_max 30....now it works with no lag, but on 30 FPS, this is only temporary, i need a real solution, help guys 🙁

Mayeb I'm not sending enough packets or something cuz of new rig? Need to open ports? What ahhhh should I just switch to windows 2000 pro?
