I just bought a Canon ZR25 video recorder. The recorder also lets you take still images. The manual does not say much about how to go about uploading the images to the computer. All it says is that I will need a DV cable.

Is there any special software I will need?
Any other pointers to look out for or any other cool gadgets that may come in handy?
