Personal firewall is running on: localhost. Not remote PC (a hostname or an IP address). Is this safe?
I am connecting through a 56k modem. My ISP is worldnet. The IP address keeps changing. The DNS server addresses stay the same.
I went to DSL.com Tiny forum to seek help in setting my Kerio firewall. I registered so I could ask some questions. My registration number/code was sent to my Hotmail address. There is a problem though, my Kerio will not let my Hotmail account through. It is in my browser as the default e-mail account.
I would like to know if I'm secured. Not only would I like to be sure its ok to use localhost in place of remote, but also learn how to set-up my "filter rules" according to my 56k modem, Worldnet, etc. etc.
thanks for your time and any input you may have to help me out.
